Our Content Management platform PHI is a multi-lingual web publishing engine. We have designed PHI from the ground up to be extremely customizable to meet different needs. Using PHI, our clients are able to update their websites through their browsers with instant gratification results. PHI is a staging area for your website where you can 1) make changes to your site including text and multi-media preview the results; 2) publish the updated file; and 3) post the approved updates directly to your live site. The end product is a published site which is your property and exists completely independently of the publishing engine.

PHI is designer friendly, giving full control over the XHTML and CSS templates to your designer to see design and structural updates to your site come to life with the same instant gratification with which you can post updated content. Designers will have Secure FTP access to your Content Manager where they can directly implement your approved visual changes. If your designer is not also a coder, we can program the changes for you from your graphics files.

PRINCIPALS

Ben Erwin

Ben Erwin founded Powersimple in 1997 with a frontier spirit, recognizing the need to deliver scalable websites in multiple languages. After directing a large customer service center where his responsibilities included staffing, training, reporting and IT he applied his diverse skill-set and dedication to his work to start the company. As a consultant and web developer, he has provided the United Nations, National Urban League and Ember Media with technical expertise and strategic planning. Joining forces with his nephew David Erwin, the two have grown the company into a thriving family business serving diverse companies and organizations involved in the arts, humanitarianism, civics, education and entertainment. Ben is proud of the strong relationships built with the many clients Powersimple has served over the years

David Erwin

David Erwin is a partner of Powersimple LLC. He specializes in designing and implementing enterprise content management frameworks and cost effective solutions for non-profit and humanitarian initiatives. He has delivered custom applications for numerous clients including the United Nations, Pulse Art Fair, the National Urban League, Reach the World and the Haiti Orphans Project. Central to David's approach to his work is a commitment to closing the divide between technical applications and the people and causes they are designed to serve. David holds a masters degree in Philosophy, from the New School in NY and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Bucknell University.
